What's In My Bag?

Since the subject of 'what's in my bag' seems to be a rather popular one in the beauty/fashion blogger world I thought I would try to entertain you buy sharing with you what is, in fact, in my bag...
My bag that I am currently using is a medium sized, green bag from Zara that I got in one of the recent Zara sales. Since green is one of my absolute favourite colours (also perfect for summer rather than a black bag), I just had to buy it!
So obviously I have my purse in my bag, this purse I got given as a birthday present last year. It is a medium sized, Radley purse, and I love it. I have loads of gift cards and advantages cards, such as these Costa and Boots loyalty cards.
I am a terrible sufferer from hayfever so to save me while I am out and about I have this really cute packet of tissues and usually lots of different medicines and remedies to help, like this Hayfever Relief Nasal Spray from Boots (which has actually been doing a great job at 'relieving' my hayfever this summer).
Next up is my absolute favourite perfume at the moment, it is from Zara and is from the evening collection. Unfortunately they don't have the perfumes on the Zara website but if you go into any Zara store, I'm sure you will be able to give it a sniff and love it as much as I do.
Every girl needs a lip balm in their purse and since I get dry lips very easily, I have two! I have the classic tiny pot of Vaseline, along with a Body Shop lip balm (which they don't seem to sell anymore, sorry!).
When it comes to lipsticks, I am a typical girl and have at least three in my bag at all times. Recently I have been using these three a lot; MAC Frost in Ramblin' Rose, Revlon Lip Butter in Macaroon and MAC Frost in Bomb-Shell.
I find I am mostly in need of this Garnier Intensive 7 days Hand cream, in the winter because my hands get extremely dry but I have to say I still use it pretty much all year round. I especially love the mango scent that this has.
I frequently change my nail polish, almost every day in the summer time, so I love having a nail varnish in my bag so I can top up my nails whenever I have the chance. The Essie Meet Me At Sunset is a great summer colour, I absolutely adore.
On those rare sunny days we have here in England, sunglasses are essential. I use these white and black sunglasses I got in America at Christmas time (I can't remember where, sorry again). They are great because they go with everything, being a plain colour.
This doesn't really need an explanation, I have my keys in my bag, although I have far more key rings than keys. The dog keyring is a Radley one, which I go for my birthday, along with other ones, such as the Eiffel Tower I got from Paris.
My bag is constantly filled with receipts and vouchers, such as these No7 vouchers you are given all the time in Boots.
For on-the-go make up touch ups or hair styles, I carry with me a hair scrunchie and clip, along with my Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara, MAC Studio Fix Powder and MAC Mineralize Concealer.

So that's it guys, hope you found this entertaining and possibly useful. Anyway, if you want to find out more or request a post for Anna or I to do, then just leave a comment or contact us.

Anna's top 5 lip products!

Hey guys today I'm going to be showing you my top 5 lip products from different colour categories! How exciting

Pink

The first lipstick is an old favourite and it's Revlon's Matte lipstick in Pink Pout. You might be able to see in the photo that this is well-loved. I find that it is the perfect mauvey-pink for my skin tone. And although it's matte, it is very creamy and not drying. I definitely want to try to use this more like I used to as I really do love it.

Dark

It is probably fair to say that this is my favourite lipstick. It is MAC's Plumful. As you can see in the photo below, you can do one layer for a sheer wash of plum of build it up for a deeper colour, but still wearable. This is one of the reasons I love it - it's a Lustre formula. I definitely think this is worth a look at if you are thinking about buying a MAC lipstick!

Bright

One of my more recent favourites is the Rimmel Apocalips in Stellar. This is a gorgeous, bright pink, almost red. It has some peachy undertones (maybe might have made that up) and is perfect for a party or other event. It goes perfectly with simple eye makeup and makes it look like you tried harder than you did! I love the Apocalips products in general, and this colour is beautiful.

Red

However much I love a classic, pillar box red, I think this is the perfect product for a more subtle take on red lips. It is the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Romantic (what a mouthful). The swatch below doesn't do this product any justice at all. These are really easy to wear and are low maintenance as they are quite sheer with one coat. Certainly one to try out if you want to venture into reds without going all-out.

Coral

The last product is a lipgloss from Barry M in the number 11. I am generally a lipstick wearer as opposed to lipgloss, but this is an exception. The smell, the texture, the colour; all really lovely. It is not sticky at all so my hair doesn't get stuck in it! If you prefer a lipgloss I recommend having a look at the ones from Barry M as they are cheap and cheerful!

NOTD

Hey guys, Olivia here, thought for a quick post I would show you the nails I had for my recent prom.
I have a nail varnish form the new Barry M Gel Effect range in the shade Lychee, which a lot of bloggers and youtubers have been raving about recently and I have to agree with them, it is one of my favourite nail varnishes at the moment.
For a top coat I use the Rimmel 60 Second Nail Polish in Clear, which you can read more about in my June Favourites post.
As for the silver line and little black bow on my ring finger nail, I've used a Bourjois Easy Nail Art Kit which I got free when I purchased two nail varnishes in the Bourjois. I actually have been loving this little kit and have enjoyed finding new techniques and designs to do on my nails.

So there you have it, if you have enjoyed this post and would like more similar to it then feel free to comment or just contact Anna or I.

Summer Lookbook!

Hello there, so the both of us are off on holiday soon and we thought we would share with you just a couple of summer outfits we both think will be great for our holiday. Surprisingly we had a hot and sunny day here in England so we took it as an opportunity to go take some pictures of our outfits for you guys..

Olivia's Outfit #1
Okay, so for my first outfit (one of my favourites - ever!) I have a bright green, high waisted maxi skirt from Primark, that I got for just £14,  paired with a white crop top with tigers on the front from Topshop, that I got on sale for £12, bargain?!
For the accessories I have a floppy straw hat from Fat Face that I got for £20, as well as some black and white sunglasses I got when I was in America but I can't remember what shop, sorry!
Finally, in terms of make-up I don't have a huge amount on, since it I don't really like wearing heavy make-up when it's hot, but in case you wanted to know, the lipstick I am wearing is the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Darling. Overall I think this look is great for a day out at the beach or a picnic.

Anna's Outfit #1
This first outfit of mine is really casual but cute at the same time. I love these Topshop pinstripe shorts because the stripes are lilac - one of my favourite colours. I also think that the stripes make it really easy to style; just whack on a simple top and you're ready to go. Mine is from H&M.

In addition to the main pieces, I put on some cute socks from Miss Selfridge, my (battered) white converse and a leather bag which I bought from a charity shop. My sunnies are from Primark and hat is also from a charity shop (sorry).
I'm all about protecting my fair skin, so I chose a long-sleeved shirt. However, these shorts can easily be paired with a bikini top or bralet if it's too hot. Slip on your flip flops and this can also be perfect for a trip to the beach.

Olivia's Outfit #2
This second outfit is a floral high waisted skirt from Jack Wills, which I absolutely adore, along with an old plain white shirt from Republic. There's two different ways I would wear this shirt with the skirt, in the left picture I just have it tucked into the skirt, whereas on the right I have tied the front to make it a cropped top.
Again, I have the same floppy straw hat from Fat Face and sunglasses from the first outfit. In addition I have a pair of pale blue platform wedges I got a while ago, from River Island.
I think this outfit is great for maybe a lunch date, shopping or just being a tourist.

Anna's Outfit #2
The last outfit is one of my faves. I bought this gorgeous dress from H&M (loads of bargains for summer there). I have already got so much wear out of it, with lots of compliments too. It is so simple yet unique. Although it has no shape of its own, it still managed somehow to be really flattering and I love it so much!
I feel like this dress can be day or evening wear. To keep off the evening chill, throw on a denim jacket to a really cute look. Mine is from Ebay, but was originally Republic. I have found my denim jacket to be a staple part of my summer wardrobe!
For accessories, I stuck with my straw hat but swapped the sunglasses to these amazing heart ones from H&M. With gold flip flops (from Shoestock, Brazil) I think this outfit is so chic and I love it. This would also look so cool with converse or a pair of sandals.
This outfit is perfect for a day shopping abroad or at home, sightseeing or anywhere you fancy. It is super comfortable and effortless. Swap flats for wedges and it would be a perfect dinner outfit too!

So that's out summer outfit ideas! Take what you will from it and we both hope you enjoyed having a look at some outfits we put together. We had loads of fun taking photos for this post, so if you enjoyed it please feel free to comment below with any feedback, or contact us and we will reply to everyone!
